Vitra Eames plastic chair DSS is the renewed version of the legendary Fiberglass Chair designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1950. The DSS version has tubular chromed steel base, DSS with bracket for positioning in the archive. DSS = side dining chair with stackable base. All models are available with seat cushion screwed to the seat shell or full padding. The fully padded version is made with polyurethane foam padding covered in fabric and connected to the body by means of a reinforced edge. Different colors of the shells and padding and various bases allow a myriad of possible combinations.
