Louis Poulsen PH Snowball is a lamp designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958. The PH Snowball pendant lamp incorporates all the distinctive elements of Henningsen's design and his care for reflective surfaces. The suspension lamp is made up of seven shades of different curvature from one another in which the lower part is painted opaque while the upper part is kept glossy. This design expedient guarantees uniform distribution of light, but also becomes a strong aesthetic and distinctive element of the PH Snowball, in fact when it is turned on you can see the transition between light and shadow on the same lampshade, illuminating the upper part and leaving the inferior one dark.
