Louis Poulsen PH 5 is a lamp designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958. This pendant lamp is part of the series of lamps designed by Henningsen at a time when manufacturers of incandescent lightbulbs were constantly changing the shape and size of the bulbs, that's why the initials "PH" are accompanied by a number indicating the size of the main screen of the pendant, in this case, 50 centimeters. The PH 5 has become synonymous with 100% glare-free light, and a symbol in lighting design. In 2020 the new colors of the Monochrome collection were introduced.
Finish
Classic (white) or Modern White: Matte powder-coated.
Monochrome Black, Monochrome Blue, Monochrome White, Hues of Blue, Hues of Green, Hues of Gray, Hues of Orange, Hues of Red, Hues of Rose: Matte wet-painted.
Metal versions: Polished brass or copper and white, matte powder-coated.
Please note that the copper and brass surfaces are untreated. This means that the surfaces will change over time and develop a patina.
