Louis Poulsen PH 3½-2½ Glass Table Lamp

Louis Poulsen Ph 3½-2½ Glass table lamp was designed by Poul Henningsen in 1928. The product is part of the 3-shade system which includes 30 lamps today, three for outdoor use. Henningsen has created not just a light, but an entire system. Thanks to this system the designer was able to achieve a uniform distribution of a soft light,  that together with the diffuse reflection through the glass allows to control glare and shadows. Each shade reduces the amount of light equally, considering the distance from the light source. The shades are mouth-blown three-layer opal glass, glossy on top and matt at the bottom. The structure in polished chrome plated or black or brass metallised gives a modern and elegant look able to embellish the rooms of the house.
