Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke Suspension Lamp

Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke is a lamp designed by Poul Henningsen. An icon of international design, PH Artichoke is certainly one of the most famous suspension lamps born from Henningen's creativity. The distinctive shape of the artichoke is given by its 72 sheets arranged in 12 rows of six sheets each, the partial hand assembly of the fixture is still a guarantee of high quality. The PH Artichoke is certainly a lamp of considerable size but of equally significant impact thanks to its elegance and its impressively scenic effect.
The PH Artichoke is still available in the original copper finish, over time new finishes have been added to de PH Artichoke family: the brushed and polished steel as well as white or black painted metal in 2020.

Finish
Copper, satin polished and coated with rose, wet painted inner side. Brass, copper, or stainless steel, brushed and coated. White, wet painted. Polished stainless steel. Black, powder-coated with a white, wet painted inner side.

Materials
Leaves: Punched brass, punched copper, laser-cut stainless steel, or punched steel. Top shade: White, spun steel. Frame: High luster chrome plated, laser-cut steel. Suspension: High luster chrome plated, spun aluminum.
