Louis Poulsen PH 4½-3½ lamp is based on the principle of the three shade system developed by Poul Henningsen in the 1920s. This type of lighting distributes a soft and diffused light downwards through three reflective patterns. These are made of handcrafted opaline glass, polished at the top and opaque at the bottom. The lamp ensures a uniform distribution of light, perfect to control any glare and shadows, also by means of the reflection diffused through the glass. The model numbers of the PH series refer to the size of the screen, in particular the PH 4½-3½ Glass has an upper shade of about 45cm and three other lower shades equal to the model PH 3½-2½. The structure gives to the lamp a modern and elegant look able to embellish the rooms of your house.
