Cassina Stadera Desk

Stadera is a splendid writing desk, designed by Franco Albini and included in the famous Cassina collection "I Maestri", which includes only certified and creative works. Its name comes from the famous Stadera scale and just like that it maintains a perfect balance between different elements. On the one hand the different depths asymmetrical tops (a main and a trapezoidal-shaped side top) and on the other hand a solid base in matt varnished steel, with only one leg, but that is able to fully support the top. The result is an elegant, fine and light writing desk. The tops can be chosen in different finishes (walnut, natural or black stained ashwood, white Carrara marble or natural cement) and have two different thicknesses and a frame that delimits the external edges in the wood and cement versions; for the marble one, the frame only delimits the edges of the main top. In addition there is also a stiff leather top cover available in different colours, which can be used on the main surface.
