Poltronova

Poltronova is an Italian company that produces furniture and design objects, founded in 1957 in Florence. One of Poltronova's most famous products is the Ultrafragola Mirror, a piece recognizable by its unique shape and psychedelic design typical of the 60s/70s. The brand became known in the 60s and 70s thanks to the collaboration with important Italian and international designers and architects, such as Ettore Sottsass, Joe Colombo, Archizoom Associati and Superstudio. In 2021, the company presented a new collection of products, designed by emerging designers and characterized by a contemporary and functional aesthetic.

Poltronova has continued to collaborate with internationally renowned designers over the years, producing innovative and distinctive furniture and objects such as the Joe armchair and the Ball pouf dedicated to the baseball champion Joe Di Maggio. One of Poltronova's most famous products is the Superonda Sofa, designed in 1966 by Archizoom Associati. This iconic piece of design is characterized by its sinuous and undulating shapes, and has been featured in major design exhibitions around the world.
