Molteni Mateo Table

The Molteni Mateo table, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, redefines the concept of the dining room by giving it a unique personality. The table is available in a round or oval version with tapered edges, perfectly adapting to any environment. The conical base is crafted using a curved plywood mold, and the combination of the two molded halves creates an open central escape, giving the base a surprising character. Mateo is available in two configurations and two heights, featuring a cylindrical and tapered central pedestal with two vertical grooves at the base. The leg is available in different finishes, including coffee oak, sunrise oak, glossy lacquers, and burnished metal. The internal structure ensures solidity with an invisible painted metal core, ensuring a rigid connection between the base and the top.

The Mateo table is available in two versions: dining and lounge. The dining version has a height of 74 cm, while the lounge version is lower, with a height of 64 cm. The dining table is available with a round top in sizes of 140, 160, 180, and 200 cm, while the oval version is available in sizes of 220 and 250 cm. The lounge version has a round top with diameters of 120 or 140 cm. Finishes include coffee riverfe, which encompasses the nuances and tones of coffee, warm sunrise oak, glossy lacquers in the entire Molteni&C range, and calacatta, emperador dark, and nero marquina marbles. Two new lacquer colors have been added to the range: pine green, reminiscent of the typical dark green color of pines during winter, and almond white, a sophisticated milky white. Mateo can be enhanced with the addition of a revolving central tray, Lazy Susan, a typical element of Oriental culture that allows for convenient serving to all diners, creating a convivial and intimate atmosphere.
