Louis Poulsen Doo-Wop is the lamp designed in collaboration with the Navy Buildings Department in the 50s. The lamp consists of the main body with a rounded double edge reminiscent of the New Look style of the 50s, which harbors a conical reflector that contributes to the diffusion of light both from above and below.
This suspension lamp, used since its creation in Danish Navy's buildings, was, in fact, simply called "Navy". In 2012 it was re-introduced under the name "Doo-wop" which recalls the atmosphere of the 1950s in which it was designed, adding two new colors and a polished brass finish to the collection; in 2017 they also added the copper and stainless steel variations.
