Molteni Lido sofa design by Hannes Wettstein. Hannes Wettstein conceives an armchair and a sofa with balanced and classic shapes, of great softness and comfort but with a Nordic rigor in the particular design. Available with seat in fiber or feather, it has completely removable covers in leather or fabric.Hannes Wettstein (1958-2008) was one of the most interesting designers of his generation, ranging from products to communication, from industrial design to architecture to becoming one of the most innovative and influential designers of the Swiss school. This is demonstrated by the numerous awards and competitions won, such as the selection for the Compasso d'Oro in 2004 for the Nomis kitchen by Dada. In 1991, with the birth of his studio, Zed, a large interdisciplinary laboratory, Wettstein developed his activity as a designer and architect at 360 degrees, taking care of the corporate image and designing architectural projects.
