Designed by Gio Ponti and produced for Altamira, an American company founded by a grandson of the Spaniard De Cuevas, it is exhibited in the company's showroom in New York, together with furniture by Ico Parisi, Franco Albini, Carlo De Carli, Ignazio Gardella and others. chosen from among the most representative of the 10th Milan Triennale. The D.156.3 armchair, which Molteni & C reissues exclusively, has a structure in solid canaletto walnut or semi-gloss black lacquered. Assembly and sanding are manual.
