Glas italia Drift Cabinet

Glas Italia Drift cabinet collection by Nendo is a series of storage furniture with sliding doors, made from tempered, acid-etched extra-clear glass, bonded with UV adhesive. Each piece in the collection features a black oak wood box that serves as a compartment for storing objects. This box is sectioned and fixed to the furniture in a way that part of it remains inside while the other part rests on the top surface. The result is an intriguing visual effect of a solid volume appearing to float in a liquid, partially emerging from the furniture. The sliding doors of the Drift collection glide within profiles made of naturally anodized aluminum. This allows for smooth and effortless movement, adding to the overall aesthetic appeal and functionality of the furniture. The base of the furniture is made of silvered glass, which contributes to the diffusion of light within the interior of the piece.
