The Desalto Softer Than Steel chair, designed by Nendo in 2014, has a minimalist design thanks to its steel tube frame and 15 mm aluminum sheet seat.
An out-of-the-box chair that is distinguished by its unusual curved back that also becomes an armrest.
The concept of Softer Than Steel is the rigid metal sheet that acquires lightness, flexibility as if it became paper or fabric.
In addition to the chair, the collection consists of benches, chaise longue, side tables and coat racks. Also available in outdoor version.
