Cassina Esosoft Sofa

Cassina Esosoft sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio, is a living room system that offers a fluid and flexible approach to defining the domestic landscape. It represents Citterio's first project for Cassina and encapsulates his timeless elegance and style. The sofa also pays homage to the art of great masters and the concept of visualizing furniture by separating the structural element from its padded interior. The Esosoft sofa features an aluminum exoskeleton and a shell with an organic silhouette, upon which soft cushions are placed. This design blends elements of the past and future, evoking the casual comfort concept prevalent in the 1960s, while incorporating cutting-edge production techniques for a circular and sustainable system. Cassina LAB has carefully selected materials such as polyurethane foam containing a percentage of polyols derived from biological sources and blown recycled PET fiber in the backrest cushions. The Esosoft collection consists of eight modules that can be used individually as sofas or combined to create corner arrangements, providing utmost flexibility in configuring living spaces. The size of the modules has been thoughtfully considered, particularly with urban settings in mind where space is often limited. The cushions are available in various sizes and shapes, allowing for individual or set arrangements. In addition to the sofa modules, the Esosoft family includes benches of different sizes, ottomans, and a series of coffee tables with tops available in wavy glass in various colors or marble options.
