Baxter Tactile Sofa

The Tactile Sofa by Baxter, designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis, is a sofa that always makes a sensation. One of the most famous pieces in Baxter's collection, the Tactile sofa (as well as the armchair and coffee table) has a style all on its own. The sofa is deconstructed and decomposed into its elementary parts, band after band, the seat and backrest become independent and the different direction of the quilting underlines the distinction between the two elements, which seem to be only able to touch each other.
Tactile has a structure in Chilean and fir plywood, base in black painted fir, and padding in polyurethane foam. The upholstery is available only in the Baxter leather "soft" category due to the particular texture of the product realized through the assembly of several leather strips.
