Tom Dixon Copper Round is a ball with a metallised aluminium interior. The shade is created by exploding a thin layer of pure metal onto the internal surface of a polycarbonate globe.
Available in black and copper. The Copper Shade is instantly recognisable for its highly reflective surface with a warm metallic glow, achieved through the technologically advanced process of vacuum metallisation.
The lustrous black lacquer has been popular on traditional Japanese lacquer furniture or in Bauhaus interiors.
