Poltrona Frau Suzie Wong Bed

Poltrona Frau Suzie Wong bed, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, recalls vintage atmospheres.

The main inspiration is clearly the movie "The world of Suzie Wong" but with a take on modern design and the sumptuous bedrooms of the 18th century. Suzie Wong bed is feminine, captivating but at the same time is simple and sophisticated.

This Poltrona Frau bed with its lightness is suitable for avery space, it gives a glimpse of elegance and invite to a limitless relaxation. It is available in Leather Frau SC and Nest and it has three differen kinds of headboard:

-Simple - a smooth headboard

-Extra - smooth headboard embellished with a pair of cylindrical button covered in tone – on - tone leather

-DeLuxe - headboard decorated with geometric embroidery

The footboard is available in two versions:

- Low: same height as the sides

- High: taller than the sides

Feet are covered in leather with caps in:

- Natural brass

- Gunmetal grey

- Solid wood - Ash in a wenge stain -or- Ash in a moka stain (61)

The headboard structure of the Suzie Wong bed is in solid beechwood and birch plywood with polyurethane foam padding. 

The two moulded lateral parts are made from moulded polyurethane foam. Sides in tulip wood, lightly padded with polyurethane foam. Footboard in poplar plywood with the two corners in moulded polyurethane foam. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau® leather. As well as the tapered feet covered with leather, there is also a variant in solid ash with a moka or wenge stain. The footboard also comes in two versions: high or low, at the same level as the bed frame boards with which it forms a seamless surface.
