Poltrona Frau Kyoto side table was designed by Gianfranco Frattini in 1974. The Kyoto table is available in the square measure of 102cm on the side with h32cm or in the 102x49 cm format, always with h 32cm. The structure of the top and the legs are in extra light solid beech wood, with solid Canaletto walnut inserts at the top of the slats that make up the top. The wooden slats are joined together with 45 ° joints to form a square weave. Chiasmo legs removable and positionable at will.

All surfaces are treated with a protective clear varnish.

The Poltrona Frau logo and the architect's signature are laser engraved on one of the faces of the leg uprights. The absence of decorative elements enhances the beauty of the raw material - the Canaletto walnut inserts have a specific reinforcement task - requiring great skill and care in the realization, and deep knowledge of the material. Re-edited by Poltrona Frau in full respect of the original project, Kyoto reflects the competence and ability of a new lever of craftsmen, heirs of the rich Italian tradition of woodworking, and joins Albero and Turner as an example of high carpentry.
