Alkazar carpet made by Paola Lenti is one of the latest rug in the collection. Suitable for both outdoor and indoor and available in different sizes. The Alkazar carpet is made using the hand tufting technique. The continuous geometric pattern that decorates the carpet is created with looped stitches made with flat braids of wool. The stitches are inserted at the same level as the wool or silk base. The base and braids are dyed in the same color; considering that dyeing on silk makes all the shades lighter, this creates a tone-on-tone effect. The choice of a single color is provided.
