Molteni Louisa Coffee Table

Molteni Louisa, design by Vincent Van Duysen, is a series of round and oval coffee tables in which the presence of wood and concrete and tactile perception make and innovative aesthetics.

The load-bearing structure, a conical central plinth, rises from the ground and is grafted onto a top hollowed out inside it. The tops, almost like suspended trays, can be in ash-coloured or brick-red cement, or in eucalyptus wood, they are characterized by an original radial pattern, obtained through a special procedure of joining the slabs. The base is made of curved plywood covered in eucalyptus essence or in bent sheet metal painted in the color pewter or brick.
