Vergin Wool

MDF Italia Rugs designed by Cameranesi Pompili. Design rugs by MDF Italia. A stylish elegant finishing touch for any room. Two models in different materials for a final effect with great scenic effect: Tatami (natural colours) and Frammenti (natural colours or red). Country of production: NEPAL. Surface flammability certifications: ASTM D-2859-06. Specific certifications available on request. Treatments: fire-resistant and stainproof.

TATAMI - HANDLOOM

Hand-weaving is an ancient artisan technique originating in India that means the rugs last in time. It offers similar aesthetics and quality to those of hand-knotted rugs, with the difference that this process speeds up production. The Tatami rugs have simple geometric patterns, they are woven line by line on a horizontal loom.
Composition: 75% wool and 25% bamboo silk (innovative natural-origin yarn obtained from bamboo vegetable fibre processing).

FRAMMENTI - HANDLOOM TAFTATI

Hand-tufted rugs are the result of an artisan weaving technique that allows threads of wool or other material (silk, viscose, linen, aloe, etc...) to be inserted.
The threads are inserted using a gun and follow the pattern traced on the rug. This is the world’s most widespread production technique.
It allows for an unlimited selection of patterns, shapes and colours. Composition: 59% wool and 41% viscose.
