A.B.C.D. is designed by Antonio Citterio fro Flexform. It is the new version of the iconic A.B.C. armchair designed n 1996. The base is in metal, the padding in expanded polyurethane, covered in leather or fabric. The chair relies on a sophisticated mechanism that slides the seat forward for maximum comfort. The idea of the low seat that rests on the ground is still contemporary, along with the snug fit of the large cushions inside the cubical form suggested by the metal platform. The Osservatorio Permanente del Design has selected A.B.C.D. for the ADI Design Index 2015, the prestigious nomination for the Compasso d’Oro Award 2016.
