Cassina Rio Coffee Table

Rio is an original coffee table designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1962 and produced by Cassina in 2015. The coffee table has six sections into wedges, non-aligned and different rays with the outer edge in natural oak or black stained oak open pore. The six staggered sections are available in three different finishes: vienna straw with natural oak edges, white Carrara marble with natural oak edges, Black Marquiña marble with black stained oak open pore edges. This coffee table is a reinterpretation of the original coffee table made in 1962 for Jacques Martin’s house in Rio. Then the coffee table was adapted and enlarged for the Japanese Embassy in Paris.
