Cassina Moncloud Sofa

Cassina Moncloud sofa, designed by Patricia Urquiola, rethinks the design of upholstered furniture in a circular key. The wooden structure lifts the padded shapes off the ground while the fabric covering envelops the volumes of the sofa creating a particular fold that enhances the beauty of its profiles. The back cushions are defined by a central stitching which gives a unique and refined aesthetic. The soul of the sofa is made up of a metal skeleton dressed in quilted padding in recycled PET fiber that embraces the structure of the backrest and armrests like an enveloping duvet. Even the soft seat cushions are made from recycled PET. Since there are no glued parts, the sofa can be completely disassembled at the end of its life cycle.
