Artek Chair 68 Birch Chair

Chair 68 was developed by Alvar Aalto in 1935 with the goals of functionality, simplicity, and longevity in mind. The seat back is made up of three components, including a slim curved rail for back support. The seat is circular and has a large circumference. Artek Chair 68 is available with upholstery and in a choice of colors and finishes and may be stacked up to four times.

The Chair 68 comes in black, white, or clear lacquer. HPL or linoleum can be used for the seat's top, while leather or cloth can be used for the upholstery. This is the most basic version of the Chair 68. A real classic with legs and backrest in natural lacquered and seat in birch veneer.
