Fritz Hansen PK22 is an iconic armchair designed by Poul Kjærholm which shows his vision for the ideal form and dimension. His search for the ideal form and industrial dimension was always present in his designs.Despite designed in 1956 for design fans it is still a genuinely modern chair.
The armchair is available in several types of leather or fabric.
The PK22 features a modest shape that has evolved into a true design classic. In 1957, the chair was awarded the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale, the world’s premier design fair. The prize catapulted Kjærholm’s career to the highest level and immediately he became a name on the international scene, a position he has enjoyed ever since.
