Cappellini Meltdown is an enchanting suspension lamp designed by Johan Lindstén in 2014, that is considered a real masterpiece of design and art. The original idea was to make something exceptionally beautiful from the terrible nuclear accident in Fukushima. The disaster in effects and the fusion concept are reflected in the lamps where the process has already begun and the bulb is about to melt through the last defense of the glass and to deform the glass body. This marvellous lamp is composed by thin colored glass with a spherical shape, hand blown in a mold available in line or cluster, in fix colour combination or monocolour. The diffusers can be in a wide range of colours: dove, pink, tobacco, light blue, amethyst and amber.
