Tom Dixon Pylon Table

Tom Dixon Pylon small table black combines a hand welded black steel rod base and a smoked glass top.Also available as a small and small table black, and a chair.Originally created to design the world’s lightest metal chair, Pylon was made in a small series in Dixon’s metal workshop in the early 90’s.

The lattice work of 3mm diameter steel rod is triangulated for maximum strength – an exercise in pure unadorned structure. The Pylon small table black is light, strong and a celebration of the triangle's simple symmetrical shape.
