Poltrona Frau Jay Lounge swivel armchair was designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, according to its goal of reinventing the archetype of the classic bergère.

He realized an authentic icon of contemporary interior design, a faithful companion during highly personal moments of meditation.

The seat of the Jay Lounge armchair is modelled around the body.

The backrest and seat are independent of each other.

The base, (burnished aluminium shot-blasted finish) designed ad hoc and die-cast, permits 360° rotation with automatic return to the starting position.

The seat structure is in moulded rigid polyurethane reinforced with metal inserts.

The padding is in moulded polyurethane foam and polyester wadding.

The natural complement for the comfort of the armchair is the Jay Lounge pouf which, with its equally clean and sculpted design, comes in the same materials but with fixed base.
