Molteni Hector Bookcase

Molteni Hector bookcase in black oak finish, . Design by Vincent Van Duysen. Composed by 4 wall mounting uprights height 3150mm, 11 shelfs 831mm and depth 350mm, 2x cases 831x350x460mm. Thanks to the different sizes of the shelves and the modular elements, the bookcase can be designed in any size desired. Hector is a floor-to-ceiling or wall bookcase and can be positioned anywhere in the room thanks to the two types of uprights.

There are therefore no limits of height or width, Hector always finds its space. At the center of the room as a partition of the living area rather than along the wall.

The uprights, the load-bearing element of Hector, are the heart of the entire system. Made of extruded aluminium, painted or covered in wood, they can extend up to a height of 315 cm.
In the wall-mounted version, they can be simply hooked to the wall.
Original shelves, made of solid wood or aluminium, with rounded edges at the corners, are attached to the uprights.
The various possible combinations of finishes give rise to very different compositions in terms of visual impact and compositions, transforming Hector from a modern hi-tech bookcase to a traditional bookcase where the warmth of wood prevails.
