Molteni Ava Living Composition

Molteni Ava, designed by Fosters & Partners, is a V profile bookcase where the use of innovative technological materials is what defines this project.
The use of the V profile is used on both framework and for the bookshelves. A touch that gives an unique designed to this item.

Ava is made by Eucalyptus wood and plywood panels. LED lamps are incorporated into the design and are contained within the shelves. The back panel is constructed of a unique aluminum sheet in bronze finish with a three-dimensional texture created with a laser cutter.
The addition of a structural profile achieved by a traction-based extrusion technique provides for maximal load resistance.
