The Fritz Hansen Egg Lounge Chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen for the lobby and reception areas in the Royal Hotel, in Copenhagen. Available in a wide range of fabric and leather upholstery. The star base is made of aluminium mounted on a satin polished steel pedestal. The shells are made of a synthetic material, padded with cold-cured foam. An upholstered foot stool with aluminium base is available for the Egg. This exclusive hotel was designed inside and out by Jacobsen, and showcased his chairs, tables, lighting and more. Arne Jacobsen's minimalist style made him one of the most influential designers of the 20th century.
