Cassina Mex-Hi Sofa

Cassina Mex-Hi sofa was designed by Piero Lissoni. The structure is in tubular steel with elastic belts; the cover is removable. The collection is completed by a freestanding coffee table and a pouf / coffee table. A 100% recycled fiber, obtained from PET largely recovered from the oceans, is introduced into the padding of the cushions.

Modular and versatile, thanks to the variety of elements and configurations available, the Mex-Hi system consists of five platforms of different sizes on which to fix the independent cushions - armrests, backs and seats - to allow the creation of corner compositions, online or island. Thanks to the study carried out by Cassina LAB, a collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Center and the Poli.design of the Milan Polytechnic, the sofa is made with innovative materials in order to make it comfortable and more sensitive to the environment.
