Aluminium, Colored Glass, Transparent Glass

Cappellini Meltdown table lamp is a reinterpretation of the marvellous suspension lamp that was designed by Johan Lindstén in 2014. This lamp has the same characteristic spherical shape diffusers in colored glass paste, with mouth blown in a mould. The floor version is available with five or eight diffusers in the same coulours of the suspension one. It is inspired by Fukushima nuclear disaster and in each element recalls the concept of fusion, that is visible in the lamps where the process has already begun and the bulb is about to melt through the last defense of the glass and to deform the glass body.

Structure:

1. Iron tube and plate in matt black lacquer

Diffuser:

2. Coloured transparent glass Ø 26,4x29,5 cm - 101/2”x111/2” with diffuser lock in matt black painted aluminium. The colors available are: dove, pink, tobacco, light blue, amethyst, amber.

Notes:

a. Bulbs are not included. Halogen bulbs max 60W E27 230V are recommended

b. On request you can have more color combinations different than recommended one

c. Any small air bubbles and color difference, is due to the craftsmanship and the art of glass masters, so they are seen as a value, not as a flaw
