Cassina Pro LC3 sofa, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand, features a structure made of chrome-plated trivalent steel (CR3) or painted in Le Corbusier's original color palette, with upholstery options in fabric or leather. Completing the family is the Fauteuil Grand Confort, grand modèle armchair. Over the years, Cassina has collaborated closely with Charlotte Perriand, her heir, and the Fondation Le Corbusier to introduce new versions and finishes that, while reinterpreting the original design, respect its authenticity, perfectly furnishing the most beautiful representative spaces in the world with style. With the Fauteuil Grand Confort, grand modèle, deux places, the logic of modernity separates the load-bearing metal structure from the padded elements, recalling the architectural relationship between the load-bearing concrete structure and the infill elements. In this case, four cushions, without ties, are arranged within a cage of painted or chrome-plated steel tubes, which constitute the primary support of the furniture in all its variations, from the armchair with single or double armrests to the two or three-seater sofas.
